Good for Grubhub. They found people are willing to pay $25 for a Baconator if someone will bring it now.
Imagine how fucked those restaurants would be without reliable delivery? Like in Seattle with the new Drive Remaining Restaurants Out Of Business Act that limits delivery fees to 15% of the ticket
Who gives a fuck if they are making money. It’s not like people don’t have the option to go and get it themselves. Putting a limit on it like it’s a fucking public utility is just more government overreach. All your doing is disincentivizing grub hub to invest in systems, sales people, etc.
I was using grub hub and door dash 2 or 3 times a week last year. I went healthy on Jan 1 this year to lose weight and drop my BP so I eat fresh stuff at home. But its a great service. Its not their fault people are locked up at home. They want to eat and junk food is great comfort food
The state governments decided to put people out of work and it’s GrubHub’s fault for offering a service that is thriving in this artificial market? Leave it to the geniuses running Seattle and San Francisco to now cap delivery fees. Elections have consequences.

This is as stupid as shaming gets.
