Day 16
The Beatles were my favorite group as I kid till I was 17 and bought Let it Bleed because the cover looked cool. Probably the most important album ever in influencing my musical taste.

Day 15 and 16 all together
I had a girl friend that played violin and she also played the fiddle. So I liked fiddle music a little bit better and when I stumbled upon this guy in high school I was hooked on Cajun music.
So you get 3 of his foot stompers - 3 for 2

Day 16
I was fortunate enough to spend about a month in the summer of 1980 with family in Bergen, Norway....btw Happy Constitution Day to @NorwegianHusky. Well, during the 9+ hour flight to København, I passed the time by listening to the music they loop on the airplane. There was some good shit being played, like The Police’s Walking On The Moon & The Boomtown Rats’ I Don’t Like Mondays, but one song on that loop really caught my ear. It was Joy Divisions She’s Lost Control, which has been a huge influence on my musical tastes. I went down that Post-punk path and discovered so much incredible music.
Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of Joy Divisions couch sale. RIP... Ian Curtis

Most probably wouldn’t agree with me, but Controversy is my favorite Prince album.IPukeOregonGrellow said:Day 16, a song discovered by yourself as a tween: Christmas, third grade. My grandma decides to give me a tape player and a copy of Billy Joel’s An Innocent Man. My aunt doubles down by giving me a copy of Air Supply’s Greatest Hits.
Shout out to my dads for making sure the third album I had to explore on my own devices was slightly more age appropriate.
