It really is. Even with the most nit picking of details, I can't see how the two situations are substantively different.

If democrats want to come out say that Tara Reade is a looney compared to Christine Ford, they should do so. But if they're not willing to make that argument then there's no other conclusion to draw besides they're hypocrites and they horribly mishandled the Kavanaugh saga.
