Fuck ‘em. They’ve been raising rates while reducing services and hours and neglecting maintenance for years. The entire model from their lean payroll on down to membership is an unabashed money grab.
It’s also always bothered me that as a 6-year member, my rates still go up every single year while new members get insane specials.
Billing members for the past month they were closed down also wasn’t exactly a boon to PR. They get what they get. Including probably a class action lawsuit. -
If you need anything besides meth to keep fit and trim you are doing it wrong. You will need a good dental plan using my fitness techniques though.

The article hit it. Rich people go to Equinox. Poorer people or people who want a gym membership to go sporadically go to Planet Fitness.
