My people have told me several local banks earmarked their PPP allocation for their largest customers and pretty well told the rest to fuck off.

    Nothing’s changed with me.

In fact just picked up a couple new deals that look interesting.

The SBA approved mine yesterday morning. Even though I sent it in electronically, less than 48 hours after the rollout, I barely made the cut.

I laugh at them thinking an extra $250B is going to be enough.

The oversight for this is atrocious. The idea is good, but Congress really didn't add any effective levers for doling this out on a needs basis. Keep your payroll, get money. No mechanism to actually measure which recipients need it versus those who are relatively unharmed by covid. Those with preexisting relationships with participating banks were much more likely to get in on the money before it ran dry. Congress really is a chicken with its head cut off.

I told someone today that the winner may be Andrew Yang when this is done.

Of course the delivery is going to be fucked up, corrupt, and overly complex because that's how we roll.

He thought I was talking about redistribution but it's more the idea of getting more for our buck. I think we collect enough.

Or did. If the country is relying on my income its over
