When's Ozone's fucking float plane going to crash into this thread and remind everyone that Trump's dick is in their mouths for calling out this kind of bullshit?

I get not wanting to waste tests on people that have already passed, but at least do small random sample so they would come up with a decent approximation.
Just a month ago you all loved to reference the swine flu death numbers. Guess what? Those numbers were estimates too because a majority of those who contracted the virus weren't tested. There were only 18.5k laboratory confirmed deaths worldwide but the CDC estimated the actual deaths to be over 284k. I can't find a lab confirmed death total for the US but it's likely well below the final 12k estimate the CDC landed on.
Working with admittedly sparse data, a research team led by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has estimated the global death toll from the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic at more than 284,000, about 15 times the number of laboratory-confirmed cases.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has put the number of deaths from confirmed 2009 H1N1 flu at a minimum of 18,449, but that number is regarded as well below the true total, mainly because many people who die of flu-related causes are not tested for the disease.
Comments
Wacky hilarity ensues
And fails
WTF does that mean?
Trust the numbers or you're a Trumpanzeeee!!!
