    It did for me. I got 3-4 eps in & never came back to it.

    I don’t think Deadwood starts slow at all. Solid from the gate. But I have a BA in History so extreme confirmation bias.
    It was kind of slow for me until about halfway through the second episode. There's lots to adjust to.
