The Municipality of Bibinje announced the destruction of transmission equipment, funded by the EU project Wifi4EU, at several locations, after reports surfaced that the municipality has been secretly installing 5g signal equipment at night.
The equipment was installed at three locations in Bibinje, at the Cultural Center, the Municipal Building, and the Sport Center of Crljenica near to the Tallinn promenade.

Limassol is proving to be an unsafe place for cell phone antennas, as police were searching for the perpetrators of another arson attack. According to the police, unknown persons set a mobile antenna placed at a Limassol supermarket on fire.
The arson was discovered on Tuesday by a CYTA worker who had gone to figure out why the area was having connectivity issues. Police and the Ambulance Service were called to the scene, finding that the perpetrators had set the antenna on fire using flammable material.
Monday night’s arson attack followed a similar incident that took place in Limassol, when another CYTA cell phone tower was set alight.
Locally, beyond health concerns associated with 5G, some are raising the alarm over the quiet installation of 5G infrastructure amid the coronavirus lockdown.

🔥Over $100K In Arson and Vandalism Damage to Verizon Twenty Nine Palms 5g Site
The Sheriff’s Department is investigating two cases of vandalism and arson to cell phone and radio towers in Twentynine Palms. Deputies were notified that someone cut the security fence and attempted to burn the transmitter building at the tower at the top of Copper Mountain.
On Monday deputies were called to Copper Mountain by a Verizon employee, who said there were multiple gun shots in the panels of the Verizon cell phone tower. The vandals had also painted graffiti of “5G” with a X over it on the front gate.

A cell tower north of Montreal was found in flames early Friday morning.
The Laval fire department received a call about a 28-metre metal cell tower behind the Plaza Laval Élysée in the Chomedey neighbourhood around 2:15 a.m. and were on scene to establish a perimeter.
“There is major damage on telecommunications equipment on the tower,” the Laval fire department told CTV News Friday morning.
