Canadian coworker’s husband randomly got Guillain Barre syndrome a month ago. Cannot stand or walk. He’s been in a hospital for a month with full care and has daily physical therapy. Fingers crossed he will slowly get better. Apparently some super random situation where his immune system attacked his nervous system while fighting off a bacterial infection. So random, so sudden.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with a government mandated therapy known to have this as a side effect
