The first 2 times I had the crud it was more an inconvenience than anything. The 3rd time, a month ago, was very different. 104 degree temp for 2 days followed by 101-102 for a week. I wondered if I was going to come out the other side.
This shit was serious. Doc said he has seen a rash of cases lately.

Years ago, I had a 102+ temp off and on for nearly a month. Even had some blurred vision at night, rash on my lower legs, etc. Very strange. The diagnoses after many tests was it was a random virus that the doctor couldn't figure out and just said to take ibuprofen for the fever and steroids for inflammation in my eyes.
Last spring I had something - probably covid - that had me spiking 103+ temps for 4 days while at a business conference. Just took ibuprofen to get through the day and keep the fever under 100. Nobody else in my party got sick. Nobody in my family got sick, either.
My point is that they're are always weird viral things floating around and always will be. Anyone still portraying covid as some kind of special or unique illness is beyond help.

I had the gnarly throat thing where it felt like I was being stabbed. I didn't think it would last multiple days…had I known I'd have gone to the doctor and I'm pretty sure they had some pills to make it go away in like 12 hours

Nobody is saying it out loud here in T-Town, but he died from a massive heart attack. I know that second hand from a friend of his family.

Those huge blood clots...

And….just in time for ballot counting season, here comes the bird flu.

Don’t forget your booster, face shield, Purell, 6’ feet social distancing at all times (with the exception being massive Leftist rallies/riots because those don’t spread Covid according to science, yet SEC football games did spread it according to science) and most of all, double-mask at all times, @MelloDawg.
What a time to be alive for shut-ins and fags like the horn tooter, who are still all-in on it.

Colorado is the pre cursor freak out state locking down poultry farm already.
Enjoy your last few weeks of Omelettes.
