Problem with much of South America is there love of socialism and theftocracy. Chile has been educating a bunch of wannabe commies. You would have thought they learned that communism means economic misery. But no. Look at Venezuela. Argentina should be an economic powerhouse, but they have the fatal love of socialism drilled into them. Can't quit it.

They have also been successful because both parties have allowed the chicoms to steal our intellectual property for decades. Look at the reaction from both RINOs and dems when Trump finally said enough and started to attack the problem. The hysterical wailing was a good clue that Trump was over the target. Even now, we have the entire dem party and the MSM shilling chicom propaganda to try to unseat Trump and get Slo Joe into the presidency so they can control him. A guy who is bought and paid for by the chicoms. dodo and the counselor are just more examples.

Yeah it's the government's fault that American companies entered into JVs with forced tech transfer agreements knowing that they were partnering with a country that is notorious for cheating. Or that American companies don't do their HR due diligence when hiring hiring Chinese foreign nationals (for less $$$ than their American counterparts) to perform work that is susceptible to IP theft. Or that we didn't craft legislation that forced private industry to harden their IT security infrastructure to ward of cyber attacks.
