Speed can be overrated, especially at WR. Just look at Baccellia. That said, this kid is really fast. Hopefully it plays on the field.
Offers are good, but ranking is somewhat low. I’m going to assume he should be ranked higher and he hasn’t been seen much by the recruiting guys.
Speed can be overrated if you're talking about a guy like Baccellia, who doesn't play up to his timed speed, and really has nothing else to offer besides that. Worthy though looks really fast(10.55 in the 100m is better than Odunze or McMillan), and appears to have pretty good hands. He also looks great with the ball in his hands as well.
247 has his NFL comparison as DeSean Jackson, and i'll take that any day of the week, although hopefully without all the premature TD celebrations. I'll always remember the first time I saw Jackson play, in the HS All-Star game, when he could have walked in for an easy TD on a long pass play, but instead decided to launch himself from like the 10 yard line, and ended up downing himself at like the 1 cause he didn't quite make it.
Is Jalen recruiting this kid for us? Different HS but same city, would have to think having Jalen here can't hurt. One of our best Twitter recruiters amongst players too.
Eggs all in on egbuka, franklin, tinae and Lonyatta
One of the two kids from catholic is gone already. Forget which one. We’ll miss on trot or egbuka or maybe both, try and circle back and the kid will tell us to fuck off.
remember the pirelli adage? power is nothing without control.
anyone can run in a straight line.
some can run in a straight line fast
only some can play wide receiver at a high level.
baccelia could only do the latter some of the time. Most of the time he was ineffective and didn't put himself in a position to succeed. Coaching is also to blame.
“I expect UW to be on wide receiver Xavier Worthy's list of final six schools (he'll announce that today), but I believe he will eventually he's going to choose Oregon at some point this summer. That being said, he told me recently he's planning to visit schools no matter who he commits to and Washington will definitely be getting a visit from him in the fall.”

This kid has legit Ross speed. Maybe a quarter step slower but also taller.
