    Full disclosure tim: I’ve only seen a few episodes of both shows.

    For ages my friends and colleagues would say to me, “DDJ, I can’t believe you haven’t seen Arrested Development! It’s hilarious, and totally your sense of humor!”

    I watched some of it, and while I chuckled, it wasn’t the LOL funny. Maybe my expectations were raised to Cal-levels of high.

    All In The Family was hyped by my, heh, family. Great show, I can see why it’s a classic, which is why it gets my vote...but again, no big belly laughs in the press room from me.

    I watched some all in the family recently. It was amusing. Then again it had Sally strothers in it.

    Arrested development is subtle, ridiculous, and brilliant and has a wildly cute lesbian in it. No contest.

    Sammy Davis Jr kissing Archie Bunker - HISTORIC TV at the time.

    Scandalous. Funny as shit.

    It waned in the later years and that sequel Archie was in later. But not much better than prime Meathead and Archie going at it.

    The first 3 seasons of Arrested Development are GOAT territory. Greatest sitcom writing ever and delivered flawlessly by the cast.

    Once Netflix got ahold of it it went downhill but such is life.

    AD is final 4 shit for me for sure. The first 3 seasons are the most I have ever laughed. Ever.
