I need to go find where I read it, as so many articles blend together, but it basically said that every thing about the pandemic was covered under Seattle’s pandemic preparedness plan over 5 years ago, except for one thing.

The plan assumed there would be adequate testing available and health authorities would know who was infected. Without testing that assumption was broken and here we are, locking down to buy time.

There weren’t any diagnostic tests available for a previously unknown virus.

Now if those fucking commies would have been forthcoming, we could have got a head start on diagnostics and preparedness.
