Coronavirus impact on the 2021 class and season

What are your guys' thoughts on how this pandemic will impact UW football? As of now, even in the best case scenario that things reopen by May or June, they've already lost Spring Football and the spring evaluation/recruiting period. There's a good chance the Rising Stars and their satellite camps will all be cancelled. If the pandemic extends into summer, then we're looking at a delay in fall camp and potentially even the season. Will this hurt or help our chances with the big local stars if they are unable to travel east for visits? If the season is shortened or cancelled all together, what will the NCAA do regarding player eligibility for next year? Will scholarship numbers be increased due to a potential 40+ player true frosh class in 2021? EWIWBI.

This either ends with a bang or a whimper. With a bang and no one cares. With a whimper and football better be back sooner rather than later

Cancelling stuff months away from now is just posturing at this point.

I think it has to make kids and/or parents a little more leery about picking a school on the other side of the country, so that probably works in our favor a bit considering the most important 2021 recruits for us are in our backyard. Might make it a little tougher to get the Troy Franklin’s and Steven Ortiz’s though.

    Probably too soon to say.

I have no idea what the answers to any of your questions are, but given the people in charge of making decisions include Mark Emmert and Larry Scott I do suspect that this is going to be a shit show.

Kids are going to be staying closer to home because a lot more dads just won't fly. They just won't. Good year for us to have a bumper crop.
JTT and Emeka are coming here. Thank you China!
All part of Larry Scott's plan.
