True. I was going to post some more of the alt country side of things when I have a sec.
The music bidness so fragmented these days that whatever gets put out is gonna be "indie-ish" by default because there's no shared experience. Our parents (and those of us north of 35) all listened to the same bands. We don't do this anymore.

Death of radio plays a role in that. You used tog TE your songs picked for you. Now you find what you like and create play lists. Obviously songs on radio still have power, but not nearly as much.

Now I’m through fagging up @RoadDawg55 ”post 2010” R and R thread.
Someone else can start a “better than 2010 rock and roll country music ‘rock’ because it beats the brakes off current rock and roll” thread and I will contribute..
