Not really confusing it. The media is playing a large role and there is pressure on people to care about the health of the people, but by focusing on the weak and vulnerable, we are hurting the vast majority of people. The people making the shutdown decisions are mostly boomers and older.
All of it is overblown. The mortality percentage is vastly overhyped because many people that already had Covid-19 didn’t even get tested and they just stayed home like normal people do when sick, and were better in a few days.
