Anyone at the WSJ who thinks Biden has a snowball's chance in hell needs a lobotomy.

    I don't think Biden has a chance.

I do think the democratic nominee will have a chance.

Dems thought the "Gold Star" family Dad speaking at the Dems Convention in 2016 was the final nail in Trump's Coffin.

They were wrong then, and they'll be wrong again this time.

    30% unemployment might say otherwise.

Perhaps but his opponent enthusiastically supported the way we got there. It's a given this will be a horrible economy. Don and I tried to warn everyone

FDR got 4 terms with a shitty economy. Too volatile still to say for sure.

That's why Trump needs to come out strong next week about the areas and states with a few cases and hardly any deaths to open shit back up. The left will call him a killer and they'll call him a whore. But it will finally put the pressure on the states to do something. And if they don't, then the governor owns the economy and not Trump. And also the silent majority, that didn't want to come off as a gramma killer, will start to put the Karens in their place.

This country re-elected a guy who lied us into a Middle East Quagmire of a War by a larger margin than his initial election.

Lesson: The US doesn't like changing horses in the middle of a race.

It was incredibly smart/maniacal for Trump to only prescribe the distancing part for the reasons you outlined. Inslee has no courage against pressure, he let prisoners out yesterday for a small riot. The masses need to do the same.

1992 was a referendum on Reagan-Light for his broken "No New Taxes" pledge.

And that HW was basically 4 extra years of Reagan and the pendulum swing was long overdue.

The Ground War, you mean. Don'r forget Swaye's people (Branch, not Tribe.) Dresden-bombed the shit out of them for about 3 months before cleaning up any hamburger & confetti that remained in the desert.

A political truth will finally crumble this year. Only one of "it's the economy, stupid" and "wartime president" can survive in the given circumstances. Anyone claiming they had the tea leaves before covid was lying. They'd be certifiably insane to say it now.
