The law behind Schumer's threat.

Louisiana passed a law requiring abortion doctors to have admitting privileges in local hospitals. It's a law that's obviously meant to limit the number of abortion providers. States get to do these kind of things. If the people living in that state don't like this they can elect different representatives. This is the first abortion case to be heard with Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on the bench. Schumer's threat was an obvious attempt to intimidate the court and get them to rule the way he would like them to rule. The fact that you have other Rats defending Schumer's actions shows you which party has moved to the extremes.
