According to Aaron, Franklins mom really likes the okg program. He also states that if they can “feel” in Simon, he’ll likely play from day 1.

    Don’t waste your time.

Simon isn’t playing day one. All of our ILB’s are young and will be on the team next year. Ulofoshio, Sirmon, Heimuli, Calvert, Ah You, maybe Tafisi. Maybe four games on special teams but there is no reason he should be relied upon his freshman year. He’s not that good.

Egbuka isn’t one of the more explosive players from Washington in a long time like the article states. He’s the most explosive. Maybe ever or at least since Reggie. Ahmed didn’t turn out to be quite like we hoped but he was very explosive too. Egbuka is a game changer day one wherever he goes.

Gadget guy, true WR, whatever. That’s a guy that needs touches from the first game he plays.

The #1 DL is tough to turn down but I really might choose Egbuka if a gun was to my head. JTT is probably more of a need tho. Get both.
I think I'm right there with you that there's something my subconscious is trying to tell me when I read that Egbuka is lost but here's a list of absolutely badass players that are good bets, and I'm more sad than happy.

The game of football has changed. You watch the pros, you watch the big time college games, and all I see anymore is the ball thrown up to a receiver who makes a play. John Ross was kind of that guy in college because he was so fast and quick, but it's been since Reggie Williams that the Huskies had somebody even close to that "just go make a play" receiver that dominates football nowadays. I'm being 60% facetious here, but maybe the biggest problem with Petersen's offense was that he tried to actually run one instead of implementing a system called "Have Jerry Jeudy on the team."
