Bernie wants to tax the sh*t out of the lower and middle class. Start with a carbon tax and then a national VAT and end up with taxing 401(k)s.

Bernie wants an upper effective tax rate of 70%, along with defunding the military, lowering costs by cutting end of life care. But what happens when Congress only lets him get away with say 50-55% high end tax rate, (and I’m being generous)? That money shortfall is going to have to come from somewhere. We haven’t even talked about free college yet.
