Since mini-mike has been spending more campaign dollars than all the other candidates put together, I’m being constantly told in political commercials that Bloomberg worked economic miracles in New York. Ironically, the best thing that he did was continue Giuliani’s policing policies – which he has no disavowed. Maybe, if Bloomberg raises taxes he can fix the US economy as he spends it on crony capitalism to shut down our oil and gas industries.

That has more to do with the Mormons fucking like bunnies than anything economic.

One thing that's coming to light with the rise of Bloomberg is how much influence he has on people without even needing to strong-arm them. Despite his history of allegedly sexist and racist comments/policies, major women's and minority advocacy groups and dem politicians who are alligned with those causes are coming into the fold and even outright endorsing him in some cases. The NYT has a pretty good pulse on this story, and they've yet to find any indication that his campaign is actually soliciting these endorsements or otherwise promising any amount of financial support in exchange for endorsements.

He has so much money, and has donated so vigorously to past candidates and interest groups, that it's just widely accepted that pledging allegiance to Bloomberg will bring about future windfalls. He doesn't even have to ask.

Consider those ramifications if he were to ever become POTUS. He doesn't even need to outright threaten anyone. If you're a member of Congress, spearheading his legislation could mean a fully funded campaign for your next Congressional race. Conversely, opposing his platform could mean $100m going to your opponent's coffers. Guys like Kennedy, Reagan, and Trump were/are rich. But Bloomberg is in another stratosphere of wealth. It's pretty fucking scary just how powerful of a tool his wealth could be if he ever assumes office.

This is no different than when the NOW gang ignored Bill clintons accusations of rape and sexual predatory behavior. There is a pattern of behavior on the left. If the politics are right, democrats will support the devil. Not just hold their noses and vote, the groups who claim they are victims will stridently support the candidate who embodies everything they hate and protest against.

ON the left side of the aisle it is all about politics and power. They don't like you living how you want to live and believing what you believe and they will vote for the devil to get that control over all of us.

Astute point. This is definitely an exclusively leftist hypocrisy issue. I'd be hard pressed to find any examples of conservatives selling out their values for political gain.

It's more about hating Trump, and the possibility of unseating him, than their love for Bloomberg. There is a large wing of the democratic party that would vote for the second coming of Hitler, or even Satan's heir if it meant removing Trump from the White House.

Please, by all means list those Conservatives. I can provide a list of Republicans who lost their job because Republicans thought what they did was not right. I can also supply a list of rats who were the worst of the worst and kept their jobs.

Come on, give it a shot.

I can start with Barney Frank with a gay brothel out of his house. A rat congressman who lied about his service in the military. A president who raped a woman and sexually abused several.

    You are next up.

I do sometimes wonder what it's like to be this shamelessly partisan.

    I think I'll pass.

Of course you will pass. Cowards always do. Biden is up to his ass in corruption. They blame Trump for Biden's family corruption rather than Biden. Then Biden flew off to China to grift for some more chicom graft for his kid. Of course its money well spent. Once you buy a Biden he stays bought.

I enjoy the spontaneity with which you're able to launch into an unprovoked Biden rant. You really are a fascinating read.

Well at least WestlinnDuck is fascinating because you sure as hell aren't. Now run and hide from this thread.

He will be back. The establishment is solidly behind him and as we have seen thus far, when it comes to rats, you can buy a lot of votes. A man who has not campaigned and previous to last night not participated in any of the never ending rat debates, bought himself a solid third place in the polling.

Mini Mike is weak on stage. He got his shit pushed in by a collection of clowns and the modern soviet democrat party is feelin the Bern. Mini Mike’s only hope is a brokered convention, which is most likely what he’s playing for at this point, but make no mistake, the era of the ”rational liberal” democrat party is done and over, buried 6 feet under by a complete far left progressive/communist takeover.
The @dnc knows they are fucked, fucked, fucked if Larry David Bernie gets the nod. There is not a fucking chance in hell the USA will opt for a socialist. Don't care how many whining millennials chain themselves to pussy hats or petulantly kick and scream their way through the general campaign.

Running a socialist will cause the sleeping giant of the middle of the bell curve to say "hold my beer" and get up off their La-Z-Boys and give Donald J. Trump a resounding win in November. Larger than rather easily 34-17. Bern probably carries NY (maybe) and California, WA, OR, IL, MA and a couple fringe states like Vermont or NH and then it gets real. The swing states in 2016 will say "FUCK NO" to socialism and give mean orange man a clear mandate to keep draining the swamp.

The debates will be good though. Trump will repeatedly tsk tsk Bernie and the rout will be on.
