Here in Oregon the Dems are trying to ram rod California’s Cap n trade in a short 35 day session that is meant for emergency legislation and administrative tweaking of existing new laws.

They tried this last summer and all of the Minority left the state to make sure it didn’t happen. Both last Summer and last week, thousands of truckers stopped by the Capitol to let them know how they felt about it.

The Governor has pledged to use executive order to make this happen, in a short session.

It’s a bill that screws Oregonians, gives an open ended check to the State of Oregon and bails out California businesses.

It’s all come full circle here. In the last 10 years, Salem has wanted to be Portland. And Oregon wants to be California.
