At my kids school, the running joke was that the non FRL kids all had iPhone 7s, while the FRL kids had iPhone 8s. And Air Jordans.

I wish I could say their parents didn't drive Escalades, too. But I'd be lying. Multi-Generational scamming is a virtue in some communities.
