Agreed ... begrudgingly. I ran into him in Vegas and found him to be an unmitigated asshole. I saw him again three years later, in the same exact spot, being an asshole to someone else.
I think maybe he's an asshole.
But whatever ... he was a good player. -

Rose is the poster boy for not betting on your sport. That includes football, baseball, hockey, basketball etc. It's not like the rule and the punishment weren't known and he was management, not some stupid 22 year old. Don't do the crime if can't do the time. Wait until he is dead. He was a great player. Some him play in Philadelphia on their World Series championship team. Hell of a roster including Steve Carlton and Mike Schmidt in the Hall.
