Rush changed the world. You can't say that about a lot of people

They won't name journalism schools after him but he invented conservative talk radio

His audience dwarfs cable TV news. His critics never figured him out

I first heard him in 1990 and I had never voted for a Republican but he was funny. When he pissed me off I asked myself why.

Not a racist. Not full of hate. He set the template. The left finally gave up trying to destroy him.

Its a rare talent. I can't listen to Hannity whether I agree or not.

That's the difference. Even when I though Limbaugh was off point or just being a wind bag, I could listen to him ... wanted to listen to him.

People like Hannity, and his counterparts on the other side of the debate, are shrill and difficult to hang in with for more than a few minutes.

Man, this escalated. I was wondering what meltdown to which everyone was referring. The I stumbled onto this hot mess.

BW hasn't been the same since @HoustonHusky dismantled him. In some ways, I feel responsible for all of this since it was I who introduced the topic of Reagan and the USSR.

Rush had some funny shit back in the 90s. I loved the guy back then. Lost interest in the 2000s.

Hannity is just repetitive and boring. I still like Rush but he is past his prime. Mark Stein is more enjoyable to listen to for me these days.

I have no interest in Rush but the crowing over someone with cancer by the Left puts the "deplorable" moniker to shame.
