Who would go to Nebraska? I still can’t believe they were ever that good. They were probably the best program in the nation in my early years of watching college fb. I never liked playing with them on NCAA football tho. What about you @IrishDawg22?

Tommie Frazier was a CFB God. I remember checking the newspaper on Sundays in those days to see if Nebraska put up 70 that week. My dad paid $400 to take me to the game in 97 when they fucking handed us our ass, mom was pissed; Joel Mackovika still strikes fear in my heart. Don't even get me started on Lawrence Phillips.

They really fucked up forcing Osborne out when they did, and that's probably a big part of why his greatest contemporary Bobby Bowden was allowed to overstay his welcome for so long. I still marvel at how they could go 6 deep on All Americans from LA at TB to play in frozen fucking Lincoln.

Nebraska mastered the strength and conditioning program before anyone else did. They were bigger and stronger than everyone they played

Not in 91/92. Watch the broadcast of the 91 game. They sure did talk to their gym a lot tho.
