Heard some idiot this morning say Shanahan is great win or lose today and the next 5 years are all Niners
Told Ram fans to watch out
Was it just last year that the Ram's boy blunder was the greatest coach since Lombardi and the Rams were set for years to come?
Yes. It was
The Rams run was always going to be short. That’s what happens when you sign a bunch of high priced feee agents and trade away your draft picks for others.
Can’t fault them. They made a SuperBowl and teams that always play for the future almost always fail, but they won’t get back in the next 5 years and a rebuild is probably inevitable. When Goff is main f $5 million, he’s good. When he’s making $35 million and taking away that much money that could be used on others, you’re fucked.
The 49ers are built better, but it’s hard to stay consistent with an average QB like Garoppolo. The defense should stay very good for awhile.
Any time you can lock up the guy who has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in all of his superbowl appearances you have to do it
They still are better off with him than without. This board loves winners, but only one team wins. Getting there is important.
Tony Bennett, Andy Reid, Jay Wright, etc. Good coaches break thru. You’re better off with a proven winner with flaws than gambling on a new guy. It’s why I never got behind firing Pete. I would fire Hop tho.

#myNiners (I’m claiming them publicly again)
