I don't have a problem watching women's softball. So it's not as if I just hate all women's sports. But women's basketball is just a very poor product of the game of basketball. Your average boy's high school team would beat the best women's college team and they would beat them soundly.

I don't like watching it personally. But there are incredibly athletic women's hoops players these days.

Not saying they aren't athletic, they just aren't built to play basketball, no hops. A good boy's high school team would smoke the top rated women's college team and some of those great athletes wouldn't even be able to get off a shot.

Well maybe you really sucked, but I'd bet that if you made the team in high school and you went to a reasonably sized school and you played even a little bit, you'd have beat your wife in a game of 1 on 1 when you were both 18 years old.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate all women's sports. Women's tennis, track and field, gymnastics, softball, are all fine, but basketball isn't a good look when played by women. And spare me the "but the fundamentals are really sound" bullshit.

I can appreciate and even enjoy the strategy and precision in a good women’s basketball game between top level teams, but watching dudes play above the rim my whole life definitely makes it a weaker product by comparison.

I would pay $50 to watch the #1 ranked HS boys team play The UConn women out of sheer morbid curiosity.

You wouldn't even need the #1 ranked boys HS team. UConn would get slaughtered. They'd get run off the court and they wouldn't get any shots off in the paint or on the perimeter. The HS team could run on them at will.

Agree with volleyball. Because of the shorter fences and base paths I like women's softball. It's every bit as good as watching a well played boy's high school baseball game.
