It looks like they changed some button functions without changing the text. You can still go back to mobile site if you go to the top of the page and click the "Mark All Viewed" button.

I was able to find a working link on my profile page. I like what you tried there though

It works fine for me. I also went to a Vanilla spoof account and it worked there too.
