The bench is fine as long as Claver or McCollum decide to suit up this year.

They have a reliable 9-man rotation, but if you look at No Williams he's statistically the worst 6th man in the league that plays over 19 minutes per. If he only had to sub at the 1 instead of the 1&2 then his minutes would drop greatly and his bullshit play wouldn't be as damaging.

It makes no sense to make a move for a reserve 2 as Barton & Crabbe are being developed and Claver & McCollum are having fashion contests every night.

If, big if, they can get to a solid 10-man rotation before the playoffs start they can win the whole thing, realistically. The 7-game series is to ensure miracles don't happen.

You only need 8 guys for the playoffs. And, no, the Blazers can't win the whole thing. San Antonio and OKC beat them rather easily. Say 4-0.

Aldridge has decided not to be a pussy and is actually rebounding this year. Blazers are losing in the first or second round though. SA, OKC are better for sure, and I think Houston and GS would beat them in a 7 game series.

I think they make the wcf, but whether it's sa or okc , I think their experience and defense will become an issue. Disagree on gs beating them gs is nowhere close to where i thought then to be, and Houston, please!

imageThe Blazer wagon is still going strong. With the addition of Mccollum soon, we might be able to add another horse.

San Antonio is a great match for the Blazers. Duncan is old as fuck, Parker isn't much better than Lillard and LA is way better than Splitter. Batum like with every 3 is a wash.

OKC was done the day they let Harden go. Westbrook is a junk PG who will lose them two games every series by being a ball hog. LA dominated Serge, Lillard breaks even with Westbrook anyway, and Batum & Wright force Durant to make 20 footers all game and he will 50% of the time.

The Rockets have a guy who is Shaq on the charity stripe, but not on the court. Harden isn't as good in the playoffs because he doesn't get as many calls. The rest of team doesn't match up, except Batum/Parsons.

The west has some really good players, but only one good team so far. The Blazers are one started injury away from being junk.

Either of those teams or Memphis vs. Pacers in Finals = Fuck you David Stern

Go Blazers. Go Spurs. Go Grizzlies. Go Pacers. DIAF OKC.

Charles sixpack sausage neck approves of this post.

Indiana down, OKC down, SA down, Houston down and of course..... they throttled Milwaukee.

Can't wait until they play Miami.

Their Bench isn't the best but they can actually put the ball in the basket this year. This is a 55 win team if they stay reasonable healthy. As good and valuable as LMA is, they need to cut his minutes a little bit. They can survive injuries to other guys but not him.

It was good to see Stott's stay strong and not double team Howard last night . They let him get his 30 and 20 but didn't let the other guys kill them.

The Blazer bench seems thin because McCollum and Claver are out. LA is an All-Star and All-Star's play a ton of minutes.

Wesley Matthews is playing way too much because he's the one man in the rotation without a sub. Either D-Lill has to bump to the 2 while Mo runs the point or Batum has to play the 2 and Wright comes in at 3. Either way it makes Lillard, Williams, Matthews, and Batum play more than they should be. McCollum was cleared to start playing 3-on-3 today, so if he can get in after the break and cut down Matthews and William's minutes then the Blazers have a real chance of winning the WCF.
