MaxPreps announced its high school football All-American selections Monday, and a trio of Oregon Ducks defensive signees earned first-team honors.

“Not surprisingly, five-star linebacker Justin Flowe and Noah Sewell were each selected to the first team, although Sewell earned an all-purpose nod for his role as a running back/linebacker for Orem High School (Utah).

Luke Hill, the nation’s No. 7 cornerback on Rivals, was the third selection for his performance for St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Maryland).”

”Linebacker Justin Flowe: "Flowe checks in as the No. 1 rated linebacker in the Class of 2020 for a reason. The future Oregon Duck ended the year with 123 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, forced five fumbles, recorded one interception and was an impact player on offense, too.”

All-purpose athlete Noah Sewell: "It is scary to think of Sewell and Justin Flowe playing linebacker for the same team and that is exactly what Oregon is getting for the next three to four years. He finished 2019 with 103 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions and was the leading rusher with nearly 800 yards and 14 touchdowns for the three-time defending state champs.”

Defensive back Luke HIll: “Was a huge contributor to one of the best teams in the country during his senior season. The future Oregon Duck had a team high seven interceptions.”
