Pretty amazing considering one of our? two All Pros didn't even make the list.DoogCourics said: -
Taylor is more than fine/average imo. I think we'll see that this season. He's a shutdown corner outside. Like you said, he ain't come here to play linebackerHouhusky said:KT will be more than fine/average if he ever gets a chance to play just outside.
Taylor was asked way too often to play the hybrid/slot/nickle/striker/corner because the LBers were so bad... He is a much better outside CB and was playing an impossible position a lot last year.
He's not put together anything like the prototypical slot guy (that's Molden). -
I know he played inside some, but he was outside most of the time. Against BYU he was inside a lot and same for Stanford. We used him inside in bigger WR’s and TE’s because they were a mismatch vs Molden and Bryant.

Cause he can’t catch shit.dnc said:

he had a good year, coming in we expected a great one. That’s my thoughts on it.

He should probably link up with the graphics department to put it in something nice...then again, seeing the work they do maybe it’s best that he doesn’t.

Most high school kids or most high school recruits? Because that's absolutely not true for the latter. Any blue chip DB we're recruiting is going to know every name on that list, even a part time starter like Murphy. The NFL pipeline is a massive recruiting tool.RoadDawg55 said:It’s cool to show off the NFL players but most high school kids have no idea who any of those guys are. The common person doesn’t know any players outside of their favorite team except for Beckham, Adrian Petersen, the QB’s, Ezekiel Elliot, etc.
Still, it’s a good selling point. -
I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Agree the pipeline is very important.

They know of them when the coaches tell them to look them up. Some kids know them, but I would bet very few.dnc said:

I bet it's more than you think just because a lot of them met them at a camp or worked together at a FSP type facility or something.RoadDawg55 said:

There's a lot more interaction between professionals and high level high school kids than their used to be. -
You're really underappreciating this ... Kids know this shit. In these days if instagram and social media the recruits know successful athletes musical tastes, what car they drive, what music they listen to, what their girlfriend looks like....RoadDawg55 said:

What are you basing this on? What kind of young sports player doesn't follow the sport they play??RoadDawg55 said:It’s cool to show off the NFL players but most high school kids have no idea who any of those guys are. If a player is in the NFL the young guys will absolutely know about them. -
Tons of kids that play football don’t follow closely like we do. Seriously, there are tons of them. If you found an average DB prospect on California, most would not know who Sidney Jones was or where he went to college unless you told them. There is no way to prove that, but until they researched the players, they wouldn’t know.Canadawg said:
