As pissed as I am about the Houston and UCLA loss. Both those games and the Gonzaga game. They hit some last minute threes to win. Granted against UCLA. We dropped three sides down low. Of course dude is going to be wide open.

They changed up the zone... were much more aggressive on the ball handler, doubled anything that got close to the rim and recovered super well on perimeter shooters. I wanted to pull my hair out when they were just letting anyone with the basketball drive at them... can't do that when you're up in their ass.

I think they're also realizing Roberts is going to give you so much more than Hamier ever will. It's nice to have a 6'11 guy who can pass/move like he's 3.

They were missing an energy guy and Roberts delivered in a big way.

Maybe the embarrassing loss to UCLA at home was the fuel Hop needed to light a fire under this team’s ass. Totally different look than we’ve seen recently. They can cover a lot of their flaws with above average effort.
