She get her basic insulin at Walmart? I agree that big Pharma will screw you if they get government permission. Price controls don't work. Competition does. The increase in insulin costs is a crony capitalism at its worst. There are lots of solutions. I hope they find a cure for Type I, and the inventor gets phu*cking filthy rich. That's the proper solution. Does you daughter have an insulin pump?

Walmart insulin is shit and I'm not poor. She gets the good stuff and wears an omnipod. Bought stock in omnipod and dexcom when she was diagnosed 10 years ago...Podd was a better moustrap. Dexcom was groundbreaking.

I'm hearing that no one can get insulin in Canada, the cost is just too low for providers.
