Can anyone tell me why they sit out the bowl games and no regular season games?? Why is there a distinction?? What if huard comes in plays 2 years then sits a year waiting to get picked? Wheres the line???

3 full years is what they're on the hook for. Schools are on the hook for 5 if the player wants it regardless of how good they end up being.

Like I said if Hunter wasn't able to come back from his knee injury he wouldn't have been kicked to the curb. Loyalty should go both ways and anyone who thinks their isn't a least some players upset with people sitting out then you've never been inside a locker room.

    TIA for the FO BTB

They sit bowl games because it’s closer to the combine and all that than the regular season games.

You have a lot more time to recover getting hurt in October than December/January.

    Good point.

Maybe colleges should push for the combine to be moved back.

There really is no reason why there is so much time between the combine and the draft.

14 players sitting out so far this year. 2 of them are our fierce DAWGS. Last year about 16 not including TRap who sat out without having the guts to say it publically.

    "Its the Las Vegas bowl"

Shut up or they shouldn't have played against eastern or Hawaii either. Actually why not sit out all non conference games?

Can you list the 16 and where they were ultimately drafted? I think that would help determine whether it was worth sitting out.

Tray I get because his back could probably go out at any time

    Fuck Hunter

It’s not like Hunter has torn his acl or another ligament in his twice at UW or anything...
Hunter has looked like an animal and recovered just fine

    Adams not so much
It’s a meaningless game, why should he play?
Did you not read the post?? Why play any games. Stupid argument you are part of the problem
Uhhh because Hunter is not helping his draft stock in this game??? Rapp was one thing. This is another.
Fuck off. If he caught 10 balls for 150 yards it would absolutely help his draft stock.
No it wouldn't. He's locked in as a top 60 pick as long as he passes his medical.
