"The pattern of these 'errors' is not random, of course, since all of them served to bolster the appearance of probable cause."

I laugh at Comey saying he didn't know that he left it to his underlings. Comey is the person that gives final approval and signs the FISA warrant. Everyone of them was approved by Comey himself before being submitted.

"There are so many errors, we couldn’t reach a conclusion or make a determination on what motivated those failures other than we did not credit what we lay out here were the explanations we got," Horowitz told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee during a Wednesday hearing.

This is similar to what Barr said during an NBC News interview after the report's release.

"These irregularities, these misstatements, these omissions were not satisfactorily explained, and I think that leaves open the possibility to infer bad faith," he said.

Yet Comey called this "an irresponsible statement," telling Fox News' Chris Wallace that Barr "does not have a factual basis as the Attorney General of the United States to be speculating that agents acted in bad faith."

Barr said he does not view the situation the same way as the former FBI director.

"One of the things that I object to is the tack being taken by Comey, which is to suggest that people who are criticizing or trying to get to the bottom of the misconduct are somehow attacking the FBI. I think that is nonsense," Barr said. "We’re criticizing and concerned about misconduct by a few actors at the top of the FBI, and they should be criticized if they engaged in serious misconduct."

Page 411. I do chuckle at how you guys keep bringing this up (parroting your news source in the daily) yet forget the actual conclusion.

Shortly after the FBI opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, the FBI conducted several consensually monitored meetings between FBI confidential human sources (CHS) and individuals affiliated with the Trump campaign, including a high-level campaign official who was not a subject of the investigation. We found that the CHS operations received the necessary approvals under FBI policy; that an Assistant Director knew about and approved of each operation, even in circumstances where a first-level supervisory special agent could have approved the operations; and that the operations were permitted under Department and FBI policy because their use was not for the sole purpose of monitoring activities protected by the First Amendment or the lawful exercise of other rights secured by the Constitution or laws of the United States. We did not find any documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to conduct these operations. Additionally, we found no evidence that the FBI attempted to place any CHSs within the Trump campaign, recruit members of the Trump campaign as CHSs, or task CHSs to report on the Trump campaign.

I find them both to be incredibly dishonest when it suits their purpose. I have no conflict with disliking them both.

I guess Comey can say anything now because that conclusion by the IG is the end all for chinvestigations. Good thing Comey decides to start telling the truth now.

There were mistakes made, no one here disputes that. But what the conservative news, and people here have parroted for years, was that those mistakes were intentional and by Hillary and Obama with the intent to spy on Trump. The FISA court was fucked up. Hopefully they fix it. But the main part of what everyone here stroked for years was squashed. Yet they want to bring this up again every day. I just chuckle.

Deliberate actions to obtain warrants that had been previously refused. Criminal Shit. Comey has other worries.

You've got nothing on Barr, you pinhead. Nice false equivalency, ShittyLawyer.
