Who is Lake’s Joe Brady?

God, reading this story about how Georgia needs to overhaul their O sounds just like our Dawgs, save for the talent, of course. But still!

Georgia can do this if Smart chooses not to be as stubborn as Miles was. He needs to do what Orgeron did. He needs to adopt an offensive philosophy that will take advantage of all of Georgia’s victories on the recruiting trail instead of wasting them in the service of an outdated notion that defense wins championships. Because although Smart will say that he and the staff didn’t do a good enough job replacing the excellent skill players Georgia has lost in the past two years, the recruiting rankings say Georgia’s players are good enough. (Just as LSU’s players were good enough when they were underachieving on offense last year.)

Joe Brady was a gre hire but copycatting doesn’t often work.

I just want a competent OC with at least some feel and ability to tinker with his offense to the best personnel.

The only chance we have is to hire a good coach and let him do his thing. With Pete gone, that has become more realistic. Pete was always going to have a hard time giving away the offense. He used to have great offenses and was hailed as an offensive genius.
