The current trilogy is such trash and degraded the fanbase's expectations so low that they are cheering something that doesn't outright suck balls.

This series just skipped the whole current shit tastic line up. It happens after the original trilogy and that's it. No prior viewing than the originals necessary if even that really.

I like that it has a Western aesthetic to it. Very much space opera spaghetti western feel.
