What I know: A MAJOR donor told the school he won’t donate another cent if Clay coaches another game. Emphasis on MAJOR donor.

What I know: There’s no deal inked with Urban Meyer (yet.) Was told discussions about Clay’s future and the donor’s demand “have nothing to do with Urban.”

What I’m guessing: Several people in the admin know about the donor’s threat so my guess is one of them told Maya who jumped to the likely conclusion of things and ran with the story before anything had officially happened.

What I’m guessing: They put out feelers to see how fans would react if they kept Clay and got a loud angry response, particularly from donors. They truly hadn’t made a final decision on whether or not to fire clay and as a result haven’t yet made a decision on a replacement though they may have identified a candidate(s).

81% this goes down...tick...tick...tick...

In all reality, they are one fucktarded UW victory (god knows UW wouldn’t win that game now) from playing for the Pac 12 championship

USC going 8-4 was always the best case scenario for us. Good enough to make the AD seriously question whether or not to can Helton, but also not good enough to solve their disastrous recruiting
