Tui for OC

Prefers the run, understands the importance of leadership. Can coach will power and resilience. Never quit attitude. Played in the NFL, winningest UW head coach for bowl games, and has tremendous local connections.

This program is in dire need of leadership skills that are transferrable to players.

  • Do we have an opening?

Nothing Tui has done in his coaching career is impressive. He's better than Bush sure, but that's about it.

Bro? You didn't appreciate his 9th win? WTF? dude?

It doesn't matter because boosh will be retained. You can COOK IT.

He has coached for about half the teams in the pac 12 and has never done anything noteworthy except when he was handed Josh Rosen on a silver platter and Rosen got worse

    Rosen is total garbage.

He is now, but at the time he was considered by many to be one of the best qb prospects in a decade out of high school. Tui certainly didnt help him live up to his potential. He also wasnt a great qb or te coach here, not at usc, nor did he do anything of note at Cal. Tui was once seen as an up and coming coach in the pac 12 who was on the fast track to being a HC. Hes now just a guy who bounces around from team to team. We can do better

Rosen was never good. He threw a nice ball. Total puff.

Couple pts, Bush is being retained. Pete ain't going to find some hot shot OC. He sticks to the script.

Agree Pete isn't going to find a hot shot OC.

That's a hell of a Sark > Ty argument for Tui.

Anyone who is not an established heavy resume OC (and probably former HC) is going to be a complete waste of time.

Yeah, Horton has a "better" resume for what is needed.

Sonny Dykes would be great but he is probably hard to outbid his contract and doubt he is looking to take on a OC role even if he is stuck at SMU; an OC/HC for Arizona, Cal, and now SMU. Connections to Texas for recruiting would be a good fit.

Mike Norvell; only 38 but coached at ASU and is now successful offensive head coach with a very different style than Pete, have to hope being young and a head coach for a few years would give him enough balls to tell Pete to get lost, also easily outbid Memphis.

IDK... Pete/Jen should just look at grabbing a HC from a successful offensive program that clearly cant outbid us.... UCF, SMU, Memephis, App State, ULL, Hawaii, Ball State, West Michigan, FAU, Troy, Liberty...

The possible coaching hire threads are always such shit because there are a million variables.

Fuck it... Jim Mora DOESNT HAVE A CONTRACT and would probably have the balls to tell Pete to keep his hands off the offense.
