The trans things strikes me as an attempt to keep the struggle going rather than declaring victory.
In regard to bathrooms I don't really want anyone other then my wife to see me naked and I don't really want anyone to see my family members naked. If my kids go into a men's bathroom or a women's bathroom I couldn't care less as long as there are separate stalls. If there are no doors on the stalls then I totally understand the girls concerns. If there are doors on the stalls than no one will see her naked, male, female or anything in between and not really sure what the issue is.
If I had a little larceny in me such that I felt more like a woman, I'd go with it to the extent it made me happy and wouldn't really give a shit how people addressed me. It's in this indignant insistence that everybody bow down to your individual latest thing that becomes, at best, tiresome, and at worst, comes off as made up or unnecessarily dramatic. -
