Interesting article. For me the interesting part is that I am not surprised at all by the correction by student journalists and their faculty advisers. It is clearly an inherent bias they have shown. I highly doubt there would have been one of the student journalists or their advisers who would have thought twice about proudly publishing the violent protesters if they had been from the Republican Student Union. How many videos have we seen of campus liberals destroying Republican Student Union tables trying to get out their message and there is never a repercussion? The "we have to live with our fellow students" excuse is a ruse. They felt bad about outing the violent offenders because they agree with them.

As for the violent protesters, they want to practice their violence and not have to worry about any repercussions. That only exists if you are a fascist, socialist or communist that is enforcing the leaderships will. In no other bubble do those kinds of protections for violent offenders exist in today's society. Currently those bubbles are on liberal campuses and far left cities like Portland, San Jose, San Fran, etc. It is alarming when you think of the dedication to violence and its acceptance if you a liberal living in a liberal enclave/bubble. Throw all common sense and decency out the window. You can see the exact same examples of that kind of fascist/socialist behavior all through modern history. This incident is just a small example of where it all is taught and put into exercise at a young age.

Exactly - and that is the regulator on free speech and right to assemble....or so we have been told by the free-speech-isn't-free crowd.

You want to behave and act like a mob, you may get called out and questioned on why you are part of the mob.

And, most assuredly, as a journalist - you need to play it straight down the fairway. Once you start picking and choosing which mob you're jumping in with, they'll inevitably turn on you if they don't like the tone or the message being presented.

Just the facts, ma'am. That's proper journalism.

I think we just need to fight it out on the streets and get it over with. The left won't stop and has no boundaries. Cage match time. Let regular Americans physically kick the living shit out of the far left on the streets and send a clear message, a preview if you will on how this is going to end for them.

Adults being adults and not bending to the mob.

Sorry, you can't pick and choose to publicly be in the mob and then run to your safe space and claim intrusion.

I thought getting public recognition was the whole fucking point of virtue signaling.

The UW no longer recognizes the Young Republicans because they sponsored Yianoppolis or what ever his name was

We've been over this. The national Republicans kicked the UW group out.
