Urban is who we think he is (and most of us would probably trade Peterman for him) but that guy producing the video has his own slant and Chinese smorgasboard'd clips to fit his agenda. He's no virtuous whistleblower either.

It is odd. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's honestly the grind of it all. Football is 24/7 for those guys at the highest levels.

Some people have 100% of the talent but 90% of the constitution to maintain ultimate success.

In many jobs people can mail it home or call in sick, take a mental health day ... but we expect these guys to be coaching nonstop and then shift to high level recruiting all the fucking time.

That's some draining shit ... and if he has any semblance of humanity and want to see his kids grow up and such being burnt out is normal.

Health reasons is simply code for “I wanted out.” The last time was a mutual decision because Ohio State didn’t want to lose Ryan Day when Urban was only staying for another season or two.
