Not with Pete. 2016 was a fluke. Roster had Sark players. All down hill from there with only okg roster. Not because of the players. Because of the shitty coach.

    P.S. Fire Pete

Your still pumping out the Sark players bullshit? Ross, Victor (who got hurt), Bierria, King, Qualls, Eldrenkamp, Coleman Shelton. Two highly touted recruits (Ross and Qualls).

6 starters out of 22. Six counting Psalm. Coleman was a big contributor at RB. We suck now, but It wasn’t Sark guys and the OKG roster isn’t the problem.

We need good players, we need good coaching, and we need the stars to align. No big coaching errors and not just good players, but difference makers.

We can’t have huge holes in the roster like we do at LB and we need excellent coaching. We have gotten neither of those things and we are seeing what happens. We still aren’t far from being good, even with this shitty team.
Football really is a game of inches as the cliche goes. In 2016, we were a few c-hairs (Arizona and Utah) away from being 9-3 in the regular season. In 2019 we're 10 pts shy of 8-1 and looking better than we really are. Oregon and Utah proved to be better teams than us this year, no doubt. But the gap is pretty small.
We were a lot better in 2016, but this is all true. A player or two here, a better coaching decision there and we’re in a pretty good place. Maybe two losses instead of four and everything looks much different. It’s the way it goes.

If just UWs 3rd down conversion rate wasnt 116th in the nation at 33% (even worse in just conference play ~25% and worst in the nation) but instead okish like what it was with Browning (44% top 30) UW would likely be 8-1

Even with the game day coaching, WR management, and ILB play.
