Especially at FSU. Talent the likes of which he's never coached. And he'd be a helluva lot closer to the Florida Keys. Jimmy may be on to something here.

Leach could turn FSU into a yearly 11-1 or 10-2 football team. Clemson will shit can them every year, but they will have the talent to snipe Florida once every few years. The rest of that conference is hot garbage.

Leach with FSU talent pool.... fuck

1 or 2 games a year he would shit the bed under weird situations but the talent would definitely give him 10-2 and maybe some 11-1 seasons.

That would be a good hire

How many players would he lock up in a dark room for poonishment at FSU? Is there a room big enough to hold all of those fuck-up, undisciplined thugs? The entire team is a toxic soup of trash kids with zero respect for authority.

Only way Leach coaches FSU is if they let him burn it to the ground and start over, with a 5-7 year plan for rebuilding.

Ya right Leach isn't going to go clean up after Taggart.

This seems like the only kind of situation where Leech could go to a big time school, one in some distress.

That's a pretty harsh generalization of the FSU team

Was Oregon full of thugs or was Willie a shit coach? Doesn't seem like Cristobal had to run everyone and start over.

Oregon wasn't anywhere close to the undisciplined dumpster fire FSU is/was. Tugger inherited a mess from Jimbo, dunked it in gasoline, and lit the match. He had no clue to how to manage a team as far off the rails as FSU.

When Tugger replaced Helf, Oregon players were largely soft, lacked talent, and didn't GAF anymore. It wasn't a three-ring circus of constant penalties, smack-talking, chest-thumping, on-the-field fighting with opponents and themselves, etc. That's FSU. Hell, even Herbstreit said the same of them, and he's an ESPN talking head who never says anything remotely controversial.

Plus, the coaches Tugger left behind (i.e., the ones who didn't want to leave with him) were the ones largely responsible for starting the turn-around following Slingblade, keeping Oregon from coming further unhinged. Leavitt was a solid DC, and Cristobal was behind the recruiting. Clearly Oregon is better without him, but wouldn't be where it is without him, either.

And you commenting about harsh. LOL.

Distress, yes, but the players he'd be coaching at FSU would push him over the edge. He has no tolerance for chest-thumping, chirping thugs, which largely make up the current FSU roster thanks mostly to Jimbo. Tugger was never the right guy to turn that mess around.
