My favorite Ron Fairly FS story was when he was talking about sharing an elevator with Randy Johnson at the team hotel. Randy was talking about how he was struggling to get his slider over the plate and needed more torque in his arm or something like that.

Fairly said, "I told Randy don't just stand here talking to me about it. Go out there and DO IT!"
