I was wondering if you we could split the poasters here into groupthink board and non-groupthink board.
Example: Poster says not to hire an alum like Mora, or an assistant, or anybody just because he was associated with Don James or The University of Washington. Instead Poster says hire a successful head coach who worked his way up instead (in other words, a coach really like Don James, not just somebody hanging by James' coattails). Poster is flamed and bombed and fucked-off and Posters posts disappear. Ultimately posters ideas come to reality, no coach associated with Don James or The University of Washington is hired. But, dumbfuck groupthink posters pretend they had it right all along.

This has been told to you many times but your pressing of Mora is Kim Grinolds territory .
No one here said hire Mora because he's an alum. That's the shit Doogs use as an argument.
We said hire Mora because he's got the make up to be a great college coach. We knew who he was and that he'd be interested because he's an alum.
Your argument is don't ever hire anyone who's an alum. It's the anti-Doog argument but just as Section14a-Huskyclaus-BrentsFS.

UW hires Jim Owens, Don James, Neuheisel, each being a successful head coach with no UW connection prior to starting at the UW, each winning Rose Bowls.
UW hires Lambright, Gilby, each alums in one or more ways (a former employee is an alum), both closely associated with Don James, no Rose Bowl and Gilby flat out tanks. Lambright better. Sark was never a head coach prior to UW and was hired back by USC using the same stupid hire-the-alum strategy as used for Lambo/Gilby. Most of you guys think USC hiring Sark IS A BIG FUCKING MISTAKE. You don't see that USC is falling for the same hire-the-alum bullshit. Coach Willingham was just a bad coach, but everybody was saying how much he was like Don James.
