In select cases, the OKG stuff hurts us. Most of those kids were never coming to UW anyway. There are tons of fast strategy type kids who suck at football. WSU, Oregon State, Arizona, etc are full of them.

Apparently Phillips was only charged with homicide but committed suicide before trial. What a waste of talent. For as bad of a person as he was, it was the missed blitz pick up that basically ended Steve young that got him blacklisted by NFL gms. Not the off field stuff.

I'm cool with acquiring some Phillipses and Pharmses just as long as they maintain a 3.0 GPA and only kill themselves or others AFTER leaving UW. Pete ain't gonna allow that type of locker room distraction.

People will come out with all kinds of weird stuff thinking it is important to our success after this year's collosal failure. But as bad as our ILBs are and the youth at DBs/DLs, if only Peterman and his dudes did not grossly misuse the personnels (most glaringly at WRs positions) and had made better in-game decisions, we would have easily been 8-0. There are far more realistic solutions to the problem than hoping for a bunch of Pharms/Philipps on this team.

If Belichick was the Washington coach it would be non stop circle jerking around here.

Belichick knows everything about everything. Knows all the rules. Is two steps ahead. Doesn't fuck around and play seniority over talent. Makes players accountable, all the time.
