You smart liberals know he won't be convicted. The media on the other hand has been literally celebrating this convincing everyone who's not as in-tune as you folks that "We got him. It's over." CNN's article indicates we will be hearing a different story soon. That Mitch and the rest of the republican senators are bad bad people.
Problem is - it's very close to a big election...this is a dangerous game for the democrats and the media to play - especially when you have literally zero dynamic candidates that can win the big one. I watch the dem debates. Even the people who aren't in-tune are pretty scared about what these folks on stage are talking about and what it's going to cost. Your best candidate, policy-wise, for mainstream appeal has no chance - Amy. The race to the left is a big mistake by the candidates. They are realizing it. Challenging Warren how she'll pay for Medicare for all. She doomed herself not answering that. Mayor Pete is retreating from the left. Booker will, too. Good for them that AOC endorsed Bernie ( who can't win ) because her endorsement is the kiss of death.GDS said:
